Aspen Shipping Decarbonization Initiative Program Manager Taylor Goelz represented the Aspen Institute and coZEV at the United Nations Ocean Conference in Lisbon, Portugal in June 2022. While in Portugal, Taylor acted as a mentor for the Shipping Decarbonization Challenge during the Youth and Innovation Forum, worked with partners from UN Global Compact, UN Foundation, the High Level Climate Champions, the Getting to Zero Coalition, and Ocean Conservancy to convene an official side event on shipping decarbonization, and moderated a session on Green Shipping Corridors hosted by UN Global Compact Norway.

IKEA's Elisabeth Munck af Rosenschöld joined Taylor in Lisbon and spoke about IKEA's participation in coZEV and the role of cargo owners in the shipping decarbonization transition during the official side event and for UN TV at the SDG Media Zone.
